The Awl - Fixing Holes in a Woolpack

Updated: Nov 23, 2023

I use woolpacks to hold the pods of acacia and senna plants when the seeds can't be removed from them straight away. But some of the seeds, sometimes 30 or 40% of them, will be released from the pods while they are still in the woolpack. So it is important that there are no holes in it. Given that the woolpacks are often dragged through the harsh outback environment, over rough gro

und, dead branches, spinifex and rocks, they sometimes get holes in them. This video shows how I fix those holes.
